Senior Pastor Chuck and his wife Laura Sturgeon
Pastor Chuck first came to FBC Coolidge on July 27, 2008. He and his wife Laura moved here from Arlington TX. and reside in Coolidge. Pastor Chuck, with over 40 years experience in ministry, is leading our church to become the lighthouse for our region to show the love of God and the hope a person can have when they give their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. He brings a spirit of excitement and anticipation of the power and presence of God in each service.
 
Pastor Chuck is conservative in his beliefs and is in agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 Statement of Faith.
 
His wife Laura is a C.P.A. with Texas Health Resources where she works as a Tax Manager. She serves as the Missions Director for FBC Coolidge.

Director of Missions   Deborah Hullum
 
 Deborah has been an active member of FBC Coolidge for many years. She is taking this  responsibility of the Outreach Ministry of our church very seriously.  She want the people of Coolidge and in the surrounding areas to hear from our church the message of God's love and forgiveness found by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
 
It is her desire that we, as a church, be a true Great Commission church and that together we reach out to our community and beyond the the Good News of eternal life for all who will believe and receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. She asks for your prayers and support as she seeks to serve in this vital role.
 
 
 
Dir. of Christian Education  Dr. Johnnie McClinton
 
Johnnie McClinton has returned to Coolidge since retiring after over thirty years as a Community College counselor and administrator.  He grew up is this church and community.  His passion is for the Lord, people, service and discipleship.
 
Johnnie has over twenty-five years experience as a Sunday School teacher, a deacon, a music director, and as a discipleship leader.  He has conducted numerous workshops on a variety of topics in both large and small churches and for the public.  His desire is to facilitate individuals to grow spiritually and to live effective God-centered lives daily. He covets your prayer support as he strives to live as God desires.
 
                                    Director of Student Ministries Melanie Carpenter

Melanie Carpenter comes to her position as Director of Student Ministries from a history of faith and service.  Raised in a home where challenges existed, she came to faith in Christ.  In later years as an adult experiencing difficult challenges, she fully came to understand the importance of a close day to day walk in the Lord Jesus Christ.
 
She has served in the past as a Director of Children's Ministries, Vacation Bible School Director and Co- Director, and comes to her new position having faithfully served in our church in our Children's and Missions Ministries as well as serving still on our Worship Team.  She is also currently serving in our Bi-Stone Baptist Association in capacities with our Missions and Evangelism and with our Associational Student Ministries.
 
Melanie is married to her beloved "Moose" and has three children.  They reside here in Coolidge where they enjoy horses, dogs, and frequent trips to purchase groceries to feed her teenagers!
